BENEFITING Chapter Programs and Initiatives
North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter ( NCTA) of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. is excited to be hosting our Second Annual Red Hot Delta Dash benefiting Chapter programs and initiatives.
The free Family Fun Run will begin at 7:13 a.m. followed by the timed 5K at 7:45 a.m. This is a great, scenic course along Marine Creek Lake and is perfect for experienced run/walkers, new run/walkers and families alike!
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers. All adult participants registered by June 1st and present on race day will receive a t-shirt, goody bag and the chance to win a 7 -9 day island vacation.
After the 5K and Family Fun Run, stick around and visit our HEALTH FAIR! There will be vendor booths with interesting information for everyone, so come on out and enjoy a beautiful summer day with NCTA! For information on the NCTA's work in the community visit us @ www.dstncta.org!

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Packet Pickup and Check-in – 6:15 AM
-1 Mile Fun Run - 7:13 AM
-5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) - 7:45 AM
RACE DAY REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 6:15 am AT RACE SITE
*ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS on June 22nd at 6:00 PM.
COST
- Kids 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Free
- 5K Run/Walk $30(includes T-shirt and raffle ticket)
- 5K Run/Walk Virtual Participants $25(T- shirt/ raffle ticket NOT included)
(NOTE: Race shirt size & availability only guaranteed for adult participants registered by June 1st must be present on race day for raffle opportunity).

Is there a rain date?
-Yes, the rain date will be June 30th
What's the refund policy?
-No refunds will be given.
Are strollers allowed?
-Yes, strollers are allowed. Runners with strollers must start at the back to avoid any trip hazards.
Are pets allowed?
-Unfortunately, no. Pets are not allowed in the runs.
Do kids run free?
-Yes, all kids 12 and under are encouraged to participate in the Family Fun Run.
Do I need to be present to claim awards/prizes?
-Yes, you must be present at the awards ceremony to collect your award/prizes.
Can I walk the race?
-Yes...runners and walkers are all welcome!
Where do I park?
-Participants will instructed where to park by parking staff on race day.
Can get my race packet earlier?
-Unfortunately participants can only pick up their packet on the morning of the event. Any changes will be emailed to participants the week of the event.
